Welcome to our new blog home

Hello I'm so glad you've found us here at the new blog home of Caton Darling and Moore. Come on in, grab yourself a cup of tea or coffee, or maybe you'd prefer something a little stronger?

Stay a while and we'll chat about all our usual bloggish things like flowers and books, gardens and cookery, and all things vintage and don't forget we have cake too.
I've still got lots of "housekeeping" to do before this blogger blog feels like home but hopefully it will be fun, so please call by again.

Hi! Thanks so much for visiting me and letting me know about your big move! Hope you'll be happy here at your new space...and have less headaches keeping the blog! I'm on Typepad too, and for almost a couple of months now it has been extremely frustrating updating my blog--pictures won't load, pages crash or just get stuck, etc., etc. I wish so much they would go back to they way things were before--LOL! I'll give the a little longer...but I hope I won't be having to find a new bloghome too! The though of starting over depresses...But I'm so glad to be here for your celebration...A slice of that lovely cake and tea with the something strong please! ;o) Happy Summer Days ((HUGS))

Yes Tracy Typepad was a bit of a nightmare and had started to take the fun out of blogging that is why I decided to make the move.

Thanks for popping in to VtoV. Hope your new blog will be easier once it feels like home.

I'd forgotten about Battenberg cake - it was my dad's favourite, so a little touch of nostalgia there. I hated it when he was alive as I didn't like marzipan in those days, but I bet I'd quite like the cake now!

Good luck!
Sue x

Hey Shabby you have to cut the cake to eat it, you do want some cake don't you?

cd&m said...

Thanks for updating your links Jayne.

Kimberley I'm hoping I'm going to enjoy Blogger too and Sue yes I'm pretty sure you'd like Battenburgh now.
