Hi! Thanks so much for visiting me and letting me know about your big move! Hope you'll be happy here at your new space...and have less headaches keeping the blog! I'm on Typepad too, and for almost a couple of months now it has been extremely frustrating updating my blog--pictures won't load, pages crash or just get stuck, etc., etc. I wish so much they would go back to they way things were before--LOL! I'll give the a little longer...but I hope I won't be having to find a new bloghome too! Yes Tracy Typepad was a bit of a nightmare and had started to take the fun out of blogging that is why I decided to make the move.

I'd forgotten about Battenberg cake - it was my dad's favourite, so a little touch of nostalgia there. I hated it when he was alive as I didn't like marzipan in those days, but I bet I'd quite like the cake now!
